PDN Faces 2011 Contest

So, i decided to enter this year's contest... but theres a twist, the portrait series i decided to enter is completely different from anything currently in the contest, i don't know if the judges will like them at all or just be like wtfbbq is he thinking ? But i figured it was worth a shot and my groceries budget for the month.

This face was cold, it was shivering, reaching out, wiggling its fingers trying to keep warm, enjoying the last rays of sun before another cold night.

This is one of the faces of my city.

This face had fear and horror etched into it, i wonder what it has witnessed to make it so. It felt afraid of me, sinking in of itself and away from me.

This is one of the faces of my city.

This face is perhaps the most abstract, the most hidden, yet it screams to me. I felt its scream and it took me a while to see it, i am not sure why it screamed, but it may have to do with the justice served on the other side of the street. Is it screaming for someone? An innocent perhaps? or screaming at the guilty?

I wish to see more of my city, more of its faces. Thank you for taking the time to look at them, maybe you too will see your city's face?
